The Greatest Miracle
If you believe the greatest miracle
Is decades old lame learning to walk;
A deaf and dumb to hear and talk,
The greatest miracle you've never known,
Or the thing is with you I differ.
My days are few and too your own
And living surpasses all by far.
Waking up to find my soul
Has not fled my flesh and frame,
I must recall how to life I came.
To worship and thank the Most High,
The Giver of life and its gain;
And I never can boast nor be shy
When I breathe and see and I be sane.
