The Greatest Gift Ever Given

As our loved ones gather, From both far and near, To celebrate the holidays, And the beginning of a New Year, Will we remember Christ, In all that we do? Will we celebrate his birth, And what it means to me and you? Will we focus on the greatest gift, From Heavenly Father above, Who walked the earth, Teaching of Heavenly Father’s love? Will we remember how Christ paid the ultimate price, Of giving himself as a living sacrifice, That all our sins might be washed away, Through the gift of atonement, A gift which is available to us each day? So as our families gather, Let’s remember to celebrate Christ’s birth, For he will always be the greatest gift ever given, To all of us here on earth!
