His light. much brighter than the sun
Silhouettes of joy beneath His love
Hearts who believe His grace has won
There is relief that comes from above
Singing hope through the lonely soul
Promising peace to the heart who knows
His wonderful gifts will forever console
For those who know the One who rose
Faith fills the life who gives its praise
Leaving all sorrow in the deserted past
Stirring dreams that will completely amaze
Lifting sorrows, doubts and fears at last
His miracles fall across spirits who give
From the best of their gifts, their light
With hearts who know that He will forgive
All the sins that haunt through the night
Whispers of kindness fall from His book
The uplifting promises that bring guidance
To life, in the heart, everywhere you look
There is relief from strife with abidance
Mercies that silence every dark thought
Fill up the soul with joy, peace and hope
Encourage us to live in the way He taught
Praising the One who helps us to cope
His presence is like a gift or a prayer
Being answered with a gentle flame
Fire that thrives on this One we share
The gift who cleared us of all our shame
I’m thankful for the One who saved me
He poured out His grace from the tree
So that I could be redeemed, finally free
He poured out His love so I would agree
… He is the greatest gift ever given to me
