The Greatest Gamble

There came a time in my life
When a decision had to be made
One that could and would change everything
Which is why I was afraid

I spent hour upon hour
Thinking of the outcomes
But I decided I was over-thinking
So of that I was done

Then I said I'd try something new
I would listen to my heart
And just hope that after this
We wouldn't fall apart

So when the moment was ripe
And your hand I did caress
I uttered those 4 little words
Praying you'd say yes
