The Greatest Friend of Them All
Sometimes people aren't who they pretend to be
At times, family can be your worst enemy
Be careful who you call your friend
Because you never know who you're letting in
They could be a wolf in sheep's clothing
You may be inviting the devil in without knowing
Some people use you then throw you away
Some are true friends who are willing to stay
Through your hardships, your ups and downs
When the pretenders won't bother to come around
Fake friends create chaos but real ones won't confuse you
Pay close attention so you can distinguish who's who
Some people befriend you because they want what you have
Beware of those kind because when your back is turned you just might get stabbed
The same way Cassius, Brutus, and others did when they assassinated Julius Ceasar
They will chop you up like meat then throw you in the freezer
They use you for their own benefit and their own pleasure
True friendship can't be bought or measured
Because you will find a true friendship to be something like a treasure
A priceless bond that is stronger than leather
When you fall, a true friend will help you get up
They will never in a million years leave you hen you're stuck
Friends can be big, small, short, or tall
But God is the greatest friend of them all
