The Great Proclamation

God of wonders, great mysteries, how you long to reveal yourself. Only a little at a time. Too much to take in all at once, lest your humble servant be overwhelmed You stand firm in creation...“The trees are mine...the sky is mine ...the universe is mine. You can’t take that away from me” you say. And I...am yours All earth recognizes you...even the agnostic must speak your name to say “I don’t believe”. Oceans proclaim you...the atom screams out your name with microscopic clarity. How hard it must be to not believe when your breath is all around. The earth shivers and quakes under the stress of unbelief...but I Lord stand tall in the warmth of your tender mercies...grant me understanding of all else.
