The Great Man

He came upon me
like the midnight madness
Brought me signs of reason
and days of happiness.

Showed me the likes
of a true womans worth
He spoke of big dreams
and whisked me off my turf.

Took me to places
I had never been
Gave me the courage
I needed to live again.

For this is no tall tale
just my love story
of man named C. Virgil
and my newest life journey.
