The Great Cope

How will I cope? All I have is in my blood, though It leaks now, and drains through The Lord Whose mercy, In Him, I have faith alone, as solid as stone.

Indeed those pictures I've seen I haven't been able to cope with at all. I don't understand what to do and I want to donate my life savings to the American Red Cross but I don't have any savings so I just sit and sulk in front of CNN, just like I did in 2005 and 2001. Now an entire country got wiped off the face of the earth and I'm supposed to belive in a merciful Lord...I just don't get it. At any rate I love your use of subtlety, it delivers quite a blow when I realize what you spell out.

This is where I turn when coping becomes difficult, Matt. It does provide a sense of peace to have faith, doesn't it? I hope the people of Haiti are blessed with some spiritual guidance in their efforts to recover from the quake. Surely there are people in many nations praying for them. God bless you for remembering their plight in this outstanding acrostic. Love and admiration, Carolyn (to my favorites!)
