The Great Below
I stared into the Great Below
upon my will, I will atone
for desperation says it so
I stand with sin alone
I stared into the calming cold
and as it seeps into my bone
the bone that led me, as I’m told
I stand with sin alone
I stared into my palm, my blame
and saw the scene, the blood that’s shown
Resisting tears of guilt and shame
I stand with sin alone
I stared behind me, none will know
the punishment I made my own
embracing now the Great Below,
I stand with sin alone
I close my eyes, it’s set in stone,
I fall with sin alo-
