The Grass Isnt Always Greener On the Other Side

The grass isn’t always greener on the other side Your problems seem bad but theirs are overgrown so easy to hide You want to convert because you feel the need You never know what their mistakes entail because you didn’t see them plant the seed You think their dirt is better be a little wiser They might not be growing well for the lack of a fertilizer They cut away too much with their knife Did they get enough of the essence of life Now they might sit on a useless mound While your grass is adequate because it has good roots in the ground So be happy with what you have and find peace and joy inside Remember the grass isn’t always greener on the other side
