The Grade

Walking around campus tonight.
look to the sky in the darkened night.
Find the star shining bright.
Holding faith and strength within her soul
Knowing it will be twice as hard.
Knowing it will take twice as long.
Sometimes all you can do it try your best.
accept the grade where it lays.
If you end up repeating the class
Don't give in, just take it again, at a later date.
No matter how bad it sucks know you're not the only one.

Grades are not the measure of a man or a woman's worth....the true measuring stick is much different. I wish someone would measure how passionate we are about learning or what we did with what we learned....half the time my professors learn from me. Interesting poem. Hope u are doing great!

Cory I know how this feels. I am taking a course at a community college and I know how painful a fail can be. Just take the course again. In the end you will win. Don't get discouraged. I have added you as a fav poet. I hope that is okay.
