The Good Teacher
Another new year a new lesson plan you make
challenging yourself for new students sake
don't get dull and lose that flame
knowing each child name and nicknames
Enthusiasm glowing passion words loud and clear
more learning building minds with knowledge shared
Critical thinking, basics first, repeating and rehearse
let students discover all to know as each day they grow
Discourage, than encourage and the light will shine
as they solve problems and expand their mind
Smarter students tutor slower friends
learning is sharing so all win
Recess of course a break to play and run
imagination builds the brain with fun
Students happy to learn and it shows
from grateful parents thank you bestow
The Good Teacher remembers the teacher who
challenged them to do better and helped them through.
