The God of the Impossible - Luke 18: 27

We live in a world of possibilities
that for so many years could not be
so many changes in the last 100 years
our great grand parents would never see

But then there is God who's eternal
impossible doesn't enter His mind
He is capable of anything at all
when Jesus  was on earth He healed the blind

For Jesus is God in human flesh
displaying the works of God to all around
the Lord encourages us all to pray
for He's able to answer His certain sound

In all our struggles of life abound
we know God knows our every thought
His promises are sure and certain
for in His word we are duly taught

Always remember what's impossible to man
is possible to God for He knows
all things are in His holy hands
forever he'll defeat all our foes

Judy Ball July 17, 2020 at 8:26 PM Another fave for me Gordon. Reminds me of a story I heard about the difference between "Good" and "Fantastic". God made a tree and He said it was Good. Man made a refrigerator and said Fantastic. God made a rabbit and said it was Good. Man made a car and said Fantastic. The refrigerator ran out of refrigeration fluid, rusted and was thrown out. The car ran out of gas, got old and the wheels fell off. The tree is still standing and the rabbit is still running. That's the difference.
