The Glance

There’s a strange sensation that I feel whenever you’re near …..

I’m not quite sure what that feeling is but it does allow me to know whenever you’re here …

It’s like an awakening that arouses me but soon evaporates…..
It’s a feeling to look forward to, yet after that moment comes an event that at times I do
hate …

And these are not words to rhyme it’s a soul that now speaks…

The thought of sharing feelings for a real love has thus turn to a notion of feeling too bleak…

Just like a merry-go-round my heart has been riding around in circles just for you….

And once the ride has finally come to an end, I have no clue on what I’m supposed to do?

Do I look the other way and in turn just turn the other cheek….?

Or does one fight for what they believe in; for a real man takes his battles not lying down but
on his feet…

I don’t know what to do or where to turn because the love for you got me locked in a trance…

I can’t escape what is felt from within ..thus brings about the reason I seek out to capture
that glance….
