The Girl You Left Behind
You promised you’d come back,
To the girl you left behind,
Cause you let her turn into dark,
In the dawn of the night.
Why did you go out in the world,
To save it from the dead,
Is this our destiny,
For you to be the hero of the wild,
And me to be the girl you left behind.
When will you come back?
To the girl you left behind,
You saved the world, but will you save her?
From the water of the crazy,
Where she’s gonna drown endlessly.
Will you miss her?
The girl you left behind,
When she’ll fill her lungs with madness and suffering,
When she’ll become one with the wind,
And turn into the daughter of the mist.
I am the girl you left behind,
With flowers in her hair,
From the garden of our past,
An eternal thought of sadness,
That I can still see in your holy eyes,
Nameless, just a simple girl,
That eventually past you will arise,
But will never fall.
