The Girl In the Mirror

A refelctive surface covered with protective glass. I see her staring back at me. I try to look past. Past the superficial imperfections that always catch my eye. Pushing aside the reoccurring voice that says "I wouldn't want you either if I was a guy." I wish I could shed this flesh and reflect the true beauty within. Oh God help me to remember why I'm here again. Nothing but dust blown through time with cosmic wind. In a blink of an eye it could all come to an end.

Hi Christina! External beauty is nothing unless it's complimented by inner beauty. After all, physical beauty has a sell by date! Do not put yourself down! All the best ... paul
