The Girl I Like

i look into her eyes
in hope to never say goodbye
the days fly by
and it seems without her i die

her eyes like the morning sunset
the days when i took her hands after we met
the warm feeling she made me feel inside
the time when i knew she wouldnt lie

the times when we watched that scary movie
and when times were groovy
i held you close to protect you
and charish everything you do

the way you look at me
sends me a message that im free
oh, one day i will hold her tight
take her hand and tell her that she is right

the cold nights i would tuck her in her bed
and repeat this until i am dead
take care of her when she is ill
cause you surely know i will

she is the one who gets me through
most times we stuck together like glue
only if she knew how i felt
then maybe just maybe i can make her heart melt
