The Girl

02/17/16 I’m the girl that everyone notices but doesn’t notice. I’m the girl that’s living her life in a dysfunctional bliss, I’m the girl that everyone will miss, I’m the girl constantly biting her tongue and clenching her fists, I’m the girl that will constantly insist, I’m surprisingly the girl still standing when all has dispersed from the mist. I’m the girl that wants to be noticed and seen for me, I’m the girl that will always pay an intolerable fee, I’m the girl that no one sees, I’m the girl that doesn’t like tea, I’m the girl that writes poems with words like he, I’m me. I’m the girl that doesn’t open up to many, I’m the girl that will give you her last penny, Even if I didn’t have plenty, I’m the girl that will give you her last penny. I’m the girl that won’t easily let down her guard, And if I do it’s only because I love hard, I’m the girl that’s slowly falling apart, I’m that girl still with an unmendable broken heart, I’m the girl that will dart. I’m the girl that works hard to retain her inner peace, I’m the girl that will feed you a feast, I’m the girl that writes poetry like a beast, I’m the girl, I’m the girl, I’m the girl, I’m the girl that wants to be noticed and seen for me, I’m me.

Gongrat. It is a wonderful girl...And it reminds me of He by Ashley Ashberry. Also, I saw kids singing and dancing with these verses>I like coffee, I like tea, I like you.Do you like me? Your poetry is enjoyable.
