The Gift of True Love
I’ve loved you since before you were even born.
I’ve loved being a mother and a wife.
I have no regrets and there’s nothing to mourne.
I wouldn’t change a single moment of my life.
Ever since you became sick, I’ve been possessed.
I was positive that, someday, I’d find a cure.
As a doctor, I became very obsessed,
But, as a mother, I couldn’t be so sure.
So, I’ve decided to do what I know is right.
I will donate my heart, so that you can have a life.
I wanted you to be able to stop the fight,
So, that you may, someday, be a mother and a wife.
