The Gift of Spring
Spring sprinkles perfumes through the air
Then from her palette's rich supply
Skims pastel shades through primrose woods
And paints the vibrant butterfly.
A robin fiercely guards her nest
For cyan treasures lie within.
Keen honey bees sense nectar's lure
As scents of floral life begin.
And birds in treetops sweetly sing
To celebrate the gift of spring.
