The Gift of Life
You are in my thoughts and in my prayers.
I’m sorry that your heart is broken and in need of repair.
I pray for you strength, to help you deal with such a loss.
I’m here for you my friend and I’ll help you carry that cross.
Some have lost their father and there’s a newly widowed wife.
Others have lost a dear friend and Uncle, a major player in our life.
Let’s all mourn together so that none have to suffer alone.
We’ll send all our love to the father and help welcome him home.
I know this has been said many times and in many different ways.
He is now in a better place and that’s where he will stay.
When he comes to visit in your dreams, make sure that you give him a smile.
We are only separated by death for just a short while.
Continue to live your life and keep making him proud.
Make sure to listen for each chord and always sing out loud.
Enjoy each and every moment of your life and don’t let it drift.
None of us are promised tomorrow; life comes from God, so enjoy his gift.
