The Gift

When I look up into the sky
In the dark of night
I see the stars
Shining clear and bright

This vision takes my breath away
Where do the stars go in the day
Do they fade and die?
Or on a cloud, in comfort lie

Until it's time for them to rise
And give their magic to the skies

I think God gave us all this gift
At the end of each day
To give our hearts a lift

Yes. Where DO those stars go, anyway?! And where does the night's darkness go? Perhaps they go to sleep. :) gw
