The Giant

There is a giant in the room, that plans to push us out, Torturing and crushing, never nurturing and mentoring, Targeting all within vicinity, with or without identity, Sparing none who dare it, scaring all that will get near, Drug abuse is surely a giant, looking around for a bite, The giant is such a menace, threatening my sweet self. Will affect all the affectionate, leaving homes in separation, The busy will now be jobless, the trusted become busted, And oohh! Taking a serious turn, from hopeful to hopeless, Getting deeper into trouble, talents simply going to drain, The gigantic giant is growing, more and more every minute, The giant is such a menace, threatening my sweet self. Some begin by the saying, ‘Boy, want to taste the sweet life’ Others would merely say, ‘am old enough to do the obvious, Oh no! the feeling may seem cool, but bites like a lethal snake, Once you are in the trap, freeing is such a big and tricky issue, Stop it man! Please be yourself, take control of your own life, The giant is such a menace, but together we can defeat it. Ichoose never to take drugs, I will take full charge of my sweet self, SAY NO TO DRUGS, SAY YES TO LIFE.
