The Genuine Me

I love you.
I certainly do.
You are great.
A 10 you do rate.
I am as proud as punch
You're as tasty as lunch.
Oh, no, I have not actively been avoiding you.
That is nothing that I would ever consciously do.
It's a lovely chat, thanks ever so.
Now I truly have to car and go.
A toodle dee dumb, and toodle dee dee.
You will never see the genuine me.

A delightful poem, Caren, but with a touch of sad. Where the genuine is, so glows the rose, unseen by most as genuine knows. Without heart vision with sight of eyes, the genuine is kept hidden in disguise. All the best to you my friend. :) hugs ~ Artsie xx

If I was any more genuine, I'd be flayed open with dogs fighting over me.
