The Gem of the Midnight Sky

Look into the crystal ball.
A shining scene from the past.

When the world was so young.
And the spell of love was cast.

We search for love in the world.
To soften the lonely night.

To wrap the chill of silence.
And cajole the morning light.

Goddess of that glowing orb.
The gem of the midnight sky.

Bless us with thy sacred face.
When we've no more tears to cry!
