The Gem Goddess
The gem goddess lived in a remote village
Far into the African jungle, away from others
She did not like to be bothered, so the villagers stayed away
A few times a year someone might find her,
But no one was looking, for she had a low profile
Which is how she wanted it, loving her gemstones,
Savoring her peace and solitude.
