After writing this, I realized how much all living things have so much in common. We the people of the earth are th only ones who can make decisions that affect all else. Put yourself in the poem and see what I mean.

The Garden Vestibule

The grapevines are returning to the garden vestibule
A rebirth of the Springtime, shortly after April Fool

Time for the English Garden that we promise every year
Boundaries set for quite some time, the end result not clear

Time to define the area, put new flora in the ground
To blossom for enjoyment, beauty for the eyes abound

Retrieve the treasured potted plants, stored from the winter's cold
Place them in the garden too, watch their wilted leaves unfold

Gardening brings comfort and peace of mind for us
A place to ride safely within , not underneath, the bus

I hope you have a place yourself to plant annuals anew
With spade and inspiration and much enjoyment too

It may not be a garden but please don't be a fool
Find a place of peace for you; your own garden vestibule
