The Garden of Sorrow

The Garden of Sorrow

Somewhere within the garden of sorrow
Where guilt is sown for every tomorrow
And remorse is grown on flowers with feet
Whom petals the seeds of his own deceit
The forsaken farmer of trickery and toil
Believes he’s the charmer of Satan’s soil
So he harvests delusion and reaps denial
To nourish the beast beneath his smile
The culprit who flushes the flesh of his eyes
Flowing life into seeds of little white lies
Which bloom to the flowers of his fallacy
The sorrows of things that never will be
