The Game Is But Yours Only

Embrace that feeling
That aching heaviness
As yours
And let it be.
Apologize for wearing your heart
On your sleeve
Cause my love
The world isn't responsible for dealing
With the turbulence within you
It's for no one to fix
It's for no one to care for
It's yours
And only you can heal it
When you decide you want to
Remember you have little control
On anyone else than yourself
That love, friendship, faith are not to be taken for granted
And the world alas is unfair
But so it is.
All you can do in the short time you have
Is to play your own game
And win in it.
