The Game
Portals open on my plane
Sensing danger in my brain
Seeking truth so I stay sane
For too long I've played the game
Filling cracks in as they come
Vanquishing demons to where they're from
Bound by purpose
Cursed by laws
Stripped of weapons with no just cause
Tapping power before untouched
To mask our path we've walked too much
To keep the demons at least at bay
And ease the conscience of the mundane
(This is obviously the byproduct of a marathon D&D campaign. Somewhere around 3 days straight... I don't know why we used to do that. I'm a nerd what can I say.)
