Love the imagery. I can almost see them as kingly soldiers saluting your passage with upright spears to the ground.

This ends strong and with panache on the ellipses. Nice work on your blog for Adeleke, Andrea. You have led a rather interesting Lifetime movie life, have you not? I would think so. Nice trribute! Regards, Gerard

I need to gen up on the different forms of cinquain before I attempt this one. Loved your woodland version with those trees as 'gallant escorts' out of the dark. Best of luck in Brian's contest. ~ Sharon :) ps, not sure I'm upto too many comments tonight, check my blog if you get chance.

A unique approach, Andrea, and I think this will score highly! Best wishes for the contest. Great use of imagery and I like thinking of the trees as "gallant escorts." I took an unusual perspective as well. Not sure what Brian is seeking. Love, Carolyn
