The Future Is Fragile

The future is fragile
The future is fragile
as an open window.
Woman you should rest
you should forget yesterday's tears.
Thoughts of the past
will disappear with the wind of forgetting.
There are no more walls!
To keep you out.
Let us look for good deeds in the future
with all our strength.
Friendship is written in the streets.
We are the unified of the day
of the new horizon
and leave behind bad and shameless deeds.
Let us write words of trust and hope
because the soul has its own language: Love

It's sometimes difficult to "forget yesterday's tears," but often we can learn from these past mistakes. I wish everyone would learn to speak in the language of "love." What a world this would be, Gert! Excellent poem. Love, Carolyn
