The Future

The Future

All is safe, as I rest my head,
Time to put worries to bed.
What happens now, until morning light,
Is a battle I can not fight,
What will be, will be,
The future, I can not see.

All is calm, as I rest my head,
Nothing pressing, that wasn’t said.
The unknown will have to wait,
One can’t change determined fate.
What will be, will be,
The future, I can not see.

All is completed, as I rest my head,
The day’s battles I already lead.
Tomorrow is another day,
I’ll deal with what comes my way.
What will be, will be,
The future, I can not see.
