The Funeral Poem

I choose to be thankful Not to be sad For all of the wonderful Years that we had You gave me a smile That no one can steal You gave me a purpose In life that was real You gave me a blessing Like no other could When I was confused You understood You gave me much more Than I could ever repay God put peace in my heart When He called you away Though I stand by your grave I'll not shed a tear I'll always be thankful Because you were here

Darlene, I'm sorry for the loss of your loved one...To answer your question, no I feel no anger...Death is and always has been a part of life...You can't have one without the other...I choose to be thankful for the time that I was allotted with my loved one, Death is not a choice my friend, it's something that we all must face,If I may, I would like you to read another poem that I wrote called, "The Last Mile"...I pray it will give you peace my friend,Sending Prayers...
