The Fountain Square
Here sitting enjoying the summer light
so lovely picturesque still like scene
shirt sleeveless with summer hat to protect
what a setting at peace so serene
Looking around surrounded buildings so fine
architecture real magnificent grey sandstone
contrasts with garden cafes at either side
looking onto town hall one's mind blown
In the centre sits a water fountain
shooting it's liquid high into the air
kids run through it become real wet
mum not pleased at young hearts dare
But stop still I do for deep moment
gaze on this fountain looks so cool
here in my spirit refreshed and ponder
come to my waters Jesus says my saving jewel
In my soul thirst, only one can supply
the ever living fountain to come and drink
receive this eternal thirst quenching provider
fully trusting fully believing my God giving link
