The Forgotten
The Forgotten
For twenty years we’ve bled and died
Our families back home, have mourned and cried
For Afghanistan, we came and fought
But in the end, it was all for not
Draped with a flag, they sent us home
Now these terrorists are free to roam
Our Commander in Chief gave back their power
This was not our finest hour
May God have mercy on our soul
For allowing evil to gain control
