I wrote this for my husband to add to his collection. I write him letters and poems for his birthday, anniverary, and Christmas. I have been doing this close to 22 years. I thought this one was pretty good and he absolutely loved it.

The Forever Christmas Gift Christmas is a special time of year. It’s a time to recall what I am thankful for, such as; all the wonderful magical moments captured within my heart and that one special person in my life. For me; You are that special person, that perfect moment, and that amazing gift completing my life and fulfilling my dreams! You are my special moment, my dream come true. Hope lives within my heart and soul; as memories of you, of us, electrify my entire being. Having you to cherish, I dream of being wrapped up in a shell, spiraling to its core, down, down, until I reach the depth of its encasement, then finding you waiting to be by my side! Christmas time shared with that special one is mesmerizing. That one: you; can entice me with a whisper and lead me effortlessly with a touch of the hand. Christmas and a growing tenderness mixed together, helps recall this fairytale romance. Christmas is the perfect time of year to tell you how much I love you. Tell you how much I appreciate all the things you do and especially how much I appreciate you! Christmas is here, its upon us; so, knowing this, my gift to you, forever to remain, forever to live in my heart and yours too... My gift to you is love! My gift to you is deeply rooted, tenderly grown and forever strong. From me to you a life of love, a forever Christmas gift, one I cherish, and I gladly share with you! Merry Christmas 12/25/2017

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, may I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
