The Forest

The Forest I`m lost in a place with big tall trees. Big strong branches and beautiful leaves. All these trees are not the same. Some are short, some are tall. Some are huge, some are small. The chipmunks and squirrels and creatures do roam. There are bucks and does that call this their home. There`s a lake and a brook. Where the fish swim. The birds in their nests, nestled in trees. I`m sure there are other beings, I did not see. I think it`s a Forest, this beautiful place. It`s quiet right here down by the lake. And so when things get me down. I come right here, where the wild things roam.
