The Flame
There’s a flame
burning in my heart;
setting my soul on fire.
An enlightening flame,
incinerating delusions
of gloom and despair.
A flame fueled
by God’s logs of faith—
An eternal flame
is this flame of hope.
As it never burns out,
let it continue to burn me up.
