The First Leaf of Autumn

In the still of the night
a soft murmur of an uncaring breeze
tears away the first
yellow leaf of a foreboding Autumn
dropping it on silent ground...

Ahhh, sweet sweet autumn and all the beautiful words she brings...lovely poem of the season. As for my 'apricot' poem..I wrote it a couple of months ago, but had not posted it until now (just for you!) today. Thanks for looking, that was nice. :) It's a haiku. Take care, love Kristin
