The First Hours of Marriage
It's been exactly
One hour and ten minutes
Already I see and feel
A noticeable difference
And ultimately
Apprehension
Already we are seperated
Of course
On display
The first time
The only time in our lives
When we are the focus
God catapults us
And love
Centre stage
For the 100th time
And still seemingly fresh
You hear
'Oh isn' she beautiful'
Our song is played
There is no need
To scour the crowd
Instinctively you and I
Break free
You clasp my hand
Like a father would his naughty child
Already domination
Has shown itself
