The First
Like a dream in the middle of the day,
Shake your head to try to clear it away.
The mud sucking up around your feet,
Fragrant blossoms tantalize, so sweet.
Surrounded by verdant green,brown,
Cacophony of strange and new sound.
No memories here to fill in this place.
Then turning, you see him face to face.
Speaks words you've never heard before,
Yet, you understand and so much more.
His aura, such love, and in his eyes,
Endless depth of wisdom, no disguise.
Adam is your name, he chose to give,
This garden is the place you will live
Deep within the soul you see the plan,
He created you, you're the first man.
