The fires that I feared How they seem to warm me now I whisper softly into the night How I wished you’d hear me now Take the bow of my confession Take the words I long to share Light my morning with your presence Light my soul with your care Be the thought that never tires When your voice speaks oh so clear From these lips that are a promise To a day I wished was near
