The Amazon jungle is on fire, and because of Hot, dry weather fueling the flames, Earth's lungs are burning out of control. Fires number in the tens of thousands, Irresponsible officials and beef producers share the blame. Removing the forest is the ultimate goal of Exporters of beef, displacing Brazil’s indigenous farmers. Reacting to this global crisis, Aid; in the form of money, water bombers, and volunteers would Give Brazil a fighting chance to extinguish the flames; Except, their government isn’t allowing outsiders to help Save what is left of the Amazon jungle, for political reasons. Our planet’s in peril, every fifth breath of oxygen Now comes from the Amazon; and when it's gone, what then?

Greed and a total disregard for the problems that will surface because of it. As you say Emile the rainforest produces 20% of the world's oxygen. Man will cause his own destruction and every other life form on earth. Well written acrostic. Tom

Ablaze with planetary matters! While some are on fire with care some extinguish the flames in an unconscionable manner!
