The Fire Burns In the Dark Forest
how many nights
have i not lain beside you?
how many Suns and Moons
have come and gone?
like my love
has come and gone.
time has shown its face
and taken my lover away.
the fire burns in the dark forest
beside the lake
in which the white swan
sings her name
