The Final, Awful End

But, without exception,
an imprecation to the old, a shibboleth
perception

then filters through:
the final, awful end of death
in view.

To some,
just their next breath
comes.

But, without exception
the final, awful end of death
comes.

This is a minichu:

Aba, cBc, dbD, ABD

I hope I have used these properly:
imprecation - curse
shibboleth - a part of speech that distinguishes one group from another,
in this case, the young from the old, distinguished by whether or not
  they consider their mortality

Soda Pop Shop 2? The form's repetition requirements seemed to make it hard to end up with much of a surprise end, which is what I was hoping I could do, but maybe I need to wrestle with it some more. Idea was old: death in view, young: dont care about anything but next breath, all: death comes
