The Fight For Life

Longing for a desirable tomorrow
A tomorrow that may never arrive
Sadness shreds into the core of my existence
Stripping me of all faith
Faith of a tomorrow that becomes balanced
Attempting to climb through this thick, smoky haze
A fog is suffocating my forsaken soul
All hope is stolen from the shadows of my sanity
I struggle to attack this bleak somber
Falsely believing I can achieve this goal
To win against this losing battle
The battle to live
