The Fifties Were Never Like This

The Fifties Were never Like This Tom’s Thoughts 1/7/2021 I hear a lot these days about cancel culture, and social injustice. Many treat those who disagree with their point of view as the enemy. Why can’t mob violence just be wrong no matter which direction the wind is blowing from? Wrong isn’t owned by a political party or a certain religion. Those who think they’re important and have names that influence others have kept quiet for the past one hundred plus days as Minneapolis, Portland, Seattle have been looted and destroyed. But now when the wind has changed directions, they kick the hardest and scream the loudest. Violence is wrong and should always be condemned as such. Not just when it fits our narrative. While I may be considered a nobody, I am embarrassed and concerned about what I see and pray daily for our country and it’s leaders. Tom
