The Field Becomes Laden With Bloom
Be built up from the inside out,
let the Word of God rise within you.
Come to ‘know’ what the Book is about,
let it guide everything that you do.
Plant seed deep in the soil of your heart
and the field becomes laden with bloom.
The field expands if you do your part
and allow it to take up more room.
Our Lord’s life was built in such a way
as the Word came alive within Him.
Through His obedience to the Word each day
He became the One who knew no sin.
The Word lived the Word I guess you could say
as God’s truths found their place in His heart.
Territories conquered, room within gained;
the ongoing quest of each day’s start.
Please don’t think that it’s all up to you
as His Spirit guides along the way.
To your completion He will stay true
as you ‘Word Up’ from day to day.
