The Father's Day Card

The daycare I've worked at, close to home. Has many children with stories untold. This particular boy touched my heart. When he made his dad a Father's day card. When I walked over, to ask what he had made. He put his head down in such ashame. I told him that it was ok. Don't be embarrassed of what you've created. He nodded his little head, and this is what it read. Happy Father's day dad, whoever you are. Mama said you left before I was born. I wish we could meet each other one day. No matter what happens, I love you anyway. If you get my letter in the mail.. I live in Oaks, just ring the doorbell.
